OUR STORY

WHAT BEGAN AS STEEL SHEETS BECAME A PROMISE.

In 1986, Mr. Radha Kishan Mangla started Mangla Steels as a manufacturer of industrial steel sheets in Delhi. A modest beginning. A clear conviction: make things well, make them to last.


In 1998, his son Rajiv Mangla joined after graduating from Shri Ram College of Commerce. He saw something others missed — the Indian kitchen was changing, and it needed better tools. He expanded into gas stove burners, bringing modern design and real efficiency to everyday cooking.


Over the next three decades, the family evolved relentlessly. 2-burner steel stoves gave way to glass tops, 3 & 4-burner automatics, and printed glass designs. In 2016, Spalin entered the future — induction and infrared cooktops, with infrared technology specifically engineered to work with all Indian utensils.

    Mr. Radha Kishan Mangla founds Mangla Steels in Delhi as an industrial steel sheet manufacturer. The discipline of steel — precise, durable, uncompromising — becomes the company's DNA from day one.

    MODERN GAS BURNERS & A NEW DIRECTION

    Rajiv Mangla joins after Shri Ram College of Commerce. He recognizes the Indian kitchen as an under served market and pivots into gas stove burners. Brass burners engineered specifically to reduce gas consumption while increasing flame performance.

    Spalin launches induction and infrared cooktops. The infrared range is engineered specifically to work with all Indian utensils — a direct answer to the biggest adoption barrier. No compatibility checks. No utensil replacements. Just better cooking.

  • As a manufacturer, I want to take this to every village and every household at an affordable range. This is my dream, and I am working on it every day.

  • We started with steel sheets. We moved to gas burners. We engineered brass components that cut your gas bill without cutting performance. We built induction cooktops because we knew Indian kitchens deserved faster, cleaner cooking. We built infrared because we knew our customers weren't going to replace every utensil in their kitchen just to use a new cooktop.

    Every decision has come from the same place: what does the Indian family actually need, and how do we build it at a price they can actually afford?
